prueba about

Hello! I am UNAM Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and member of the Mexican National Research System (SNI). My research focuses on the cross-cultural and comparative uses of space and time; firstly in the philosophical and literary traditions, secondly in their interactions with the creation of modern scientific knowledge, and thirdly in their social reception and transformation into popular culture. For this reason, I am interested in working in a constant dialogue between the sciences and the humanities from various angles that include literature, popular culture, and contemporary thought.
Previously, I have been Japan Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Global and Regional Studies at the University of The Ryukyus (2018), and Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at The Center for Asian and African Studies at El Colegio de México (2017-2018).
In 2017 I received my PhD. Summa Cum Laude in Literary Theory, Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, with a thesis on the Multiverse as an icon of the transdisciplinary dialogue, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Part of my thesis has been published as a book by a Spanish publishing house specialized in comics theory.
I am member of the Research Group “Redefining Practical Reason: Contributions and Limits of the Neurobiologization of Morality” of the Philosophy College of National Autonomous University of Mexico, and the Research Group GREGAL (Cultural Circulation Japan-Korea-Catalonia/Spain) at the Department of Translation and Interpretation and East Asian Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
